A 1:1 scale study of the original product's forms were modeled in Rhino.
Afterward, I exported the model into Fusion 360 Slicer and sliced it into X, Y, and Z
planes. I laser cut the Adobe Illustrator files of the planes onto chipboard and
assembled a 1:1 scale model of the original product.

I disassembled every component of the original product and created an exploded diorama model which I used to draw the linework in Adobe Illustrator.

While working on the low-fidelity prototypes, I held and tested the ergonomics of various NERF gun handles. Furthermore, I experimented with different silhouettes for the ergonomics of the handle using cardboard. For a wider sample size, I asked several classmates, friends, and roommates to test each handle silhouette to get a more well-rounded input on the feeling of each handle. I used plasticine modeling clay to form a comfortable and textured grip around the handle silhouette that I tested to be the most comfortable.
